After 8-9 months from now I will be finishing school. Being an airline pilot is my old dream and now I am sure that I will try to become one. But choosing the right path to it is a bit complex for me.
I live in Lithuania which is EU country. Since aviation is really expensive area and if you choose to go to piloting schools, almost in every occasion it costs around 80 000 euros which is too much for me. However, in Lithuania there is one university where you can become a commercial pilot and at the same time get the masters degree at aeronautics engineering in 5 years, and everything is for FREE

I heard that it is hard to find a job after you finish studies and often you get a job somewhere in Asia where I wouldn't like to work until you get some flying hours. So I want to find other places where I could study to become a commercial pilot.
Finding other option on the internet was quite a challenge for me. I found only a few places like in Lithuania (piloting+major of engineering) in UK, US, Australia, but prices there are also high. Furthermore, there are no universities from countries where the tuition fee for me, as a EU citizen, would be low which would offer any studies based on being an airline pilot. Only piloting schools and they are far too expensive.
I have also done a research on future pilot (cadet) programmes with sponsorship of an airline which would hire you when you finish studies. This would be an ideal option for me because it is cheap, fast and you are guaranteed that you will get a job instantly. But not many airlines would accept me because of my nationality. Only these: British airways, Flybe and Jetair.
I will definitely try to pass there but chances for me to get accepted are small because there are a lot of contestants.
So I want to summarize what I am looking for. I want a place where I could become a commercial pilot by not paying tens of thousands euros and be confident about future employment.
Questions.
1. Is it really that hard to get a job in European airlines after finishing not well known university which has no connections with airlines?
2. Are there universities with piloting studies in countries where studying wouldn't cost me much (Austria, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Scotland, Iceland, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Germany, Spain)?
3. Are there any other sponsored cadet pilot programmes where I could apply as a EU citizen?
4. Are there any other good ways to become a commercial pilot?
