all i can say is, lots of encouraging news after many years of gloom.
i say bring it on, open up the sector. let the smaller jets like emb n let turbos fly to tier 2 n 3. y not?
yes they will need expats to start ops but they will all hire locals eventually as expats cost too much to be a permanent fixture.
and i am hoping that at least some will give freshers a chance.
i for one am tired of type rated recruitment fad started in the indian industry by one major airline.
its driving many youngsters to block more money coz they are not confident of competing with non tr freshers.
get ur basics straight, clear atpl writtens, then if u still feel u need a tr, then go for one.
i met type rated ppl in atpl vivas, who dont know basics of gpws,windshear and one airbus rated chick dint know wat canpa/cdfa was.
