Thomson Long Haul from Bristol
Working at Bristol and knowing people, Talking to the engineers and some airport ops staff, it appears that the missing Long Haul next year is/was due to technical reasons with the dimentions of the Dreamliner, with the period of non operation for next year was to allow the airport to provide turning circles at the end of the runway to allow back tracking to exit via taxiways Charlie and delta (the original cross wind runways ) on to the ramp.
However, it appears that they are not now required as long as there are no vehicles using the grass/paved track on the inside of the boundry fence then the Dreamliner can operate and the Long Haul operation is back for 2015, or maybe sooner if they can sell the seats.
Anyway, we'll see.
