It must bother you as you know fine that if 2 students for evey one cadet didn't put there families capital at risk you would have the option where you got your new FO's from.
There are no jobs which are ear marked for none cadets these days from the big schools. And as much as you like to say it airlines are run by accountant not the training deptments. So the schools have an effective tax claw back just now.
If this goes it doesn't matter what you would like you will be forced to deal with cheapest option.
But we all know that if the self finaced students wern't there you would only have one option because there isn't enough cadet work to support one school never mind three.
