P&O cruises have indeed cut back a lot on regional airports this winter with nearly all flights now from LGW , MAN ,BHX and GLA
Cardiff like Bournemouth has seen a big cut to Barbados , BOH had up to 10 flights in the winter period but nothing this year
My friend who works for P&O said there was a problem this winter sourcing 767 aircraft from Thomson for the smaller regional airports and also the APD was a big issue hence they were concentrating this winter mainly on larger UK airports
