UA 757/767.
Does anyone else think it strange that the airline fraternity have yet to ask the aircraft manufacturers to submit plans for a replacement for the 757.
AAL are replacing their 767-200s with A321s on transcontinental routes.I'm sure most will remember that these 767s were regular visitors to the UK including BHX ( AA 23/4)back in the day.
There is quite a big difference in capacity and range with the current crop of a/c available compared to the 757/767-200.
USAir,DAL,AAL and UAL all use 757s on various services from the USA to northern Europe and all have or still use 767-200s.That is a lot of aircraft that will need to be replaced over the next few years.
I'm sure someone will correct me but I am really not sure what airlines will use when these venerable Boeings are phased out.Please discuss!!!
