You didn't get the drift ....

I clearly stated that the ER was not designed for a lot of routes it is flying now, the LR was intended for that. We all know however that the whale was designed for a lot more distant routes, but can't do it. At least to me that's a huge difference, because one product surpassed its promise, the other one undershot.

Timmy, again at least to my understanding, was clearly pointing out, that he wanted the promises fulfilled. Now where exactly was he disappointed again???

There is a market for every one of the aircraft on offer. To compare different sizes only comes into discussion when some models are used on inappropriate routes, meaning they are more inefficient there. Representatives from operations openly admit at wash-ups that they could send two T7s to certain places for the same cost on one whale (that much for your not understanding why people compare products). If this should make any sense at all, then maybe only because we have that number of whales and must deploy them somewhere and for the usual 'mine is bigger, or at least as big as yours' prestige reasons prevailing in this region.

The market for this aircraft is clearly there, but there is one for maybe half of the order. The others must fly on routes that do not suit them. As i predict, when fuel goes up and yield falls, it might start biting the big whale operators.

.... and i love these discussions!
