I can assure you no medicine to take. Obviously staffordshire is a large county and for the most part of course MAN is closest.
From where I am MAN according to Google is 1hr 37mins
To LHR is 1hr 51 mins
To LTN 1hr 29 mins
For what its worth Doncaster Sheffield is also quicker!
But in the real world the M6 is a total nightmare and the journey time is totally unpredictable so I almost always find LHR easier to get to.
All I'm saying is that I live 21 miles down the road from BHX, but for me MAN is No 5/6 by choice. The dynamics between competing airports is complex - even though I live between BHX and EMA the third choice would be LTN. Dont shoot me down!
