Sana'a and Kabul two different animals...hills immediately to the north obstruct the pattern...ATC in the past prohibited visual maneuvering over the city...maybe that's changed...(watch out for the aerostat)....don't compare the two Sana"a...Kabul...operated to both many times...not saying visual appriach to RWY 11 at KBL is impossible...many operators do it...but not even comparable to Sana"a
