Well, the very Boeing focused 1999 edition of the "FMC USER'S GUIDE" by Bulfer et al says on page 8 :
The Multi-function Control Display Unit (MCDU) was also developed for the 1 Mg model.
More interesting is, however, where one could find a PC trainer!? I have been looking for years but the rumors always turn out to be just... rumors.
