Rather surprising to hear that Hammond has any kind of licence, after the dreadful jet-car accident in which he sustained severe head injuries. The risk of fits increases significantly after such injuries, and normally precludes any kind of flying.
Doesn't count for the H licence as you have to have sustained some form of head injury in order to want to play with those foul, hydraulic palm tree thingies. People who cling on while their machines beat the air into submission aren't really pilots, are they?
