EDI-ORD to launch next summer by UA using the 757.
This a perfect route for EDI, given the ancestral connections (claimed) by many Americans to Scotland - combined with the urban myth than Americans only have any idea on the whereabouts of two UK cities, London, England and Edinboro', Scotland.
I honestly fail to see how a short season route from ORD is ever going to work at BHX - now year round business service, that might work, but reckon that an aircraft with some cargo capacity, with BHXs' extended runway, might be preferable to the 757.
