In some countries a climb clearance doesn't cancel restrictions. Best is ask if in doubt.
Big one I remember was in the Canaries where a lot of SIDs have intermediate level offs...a few years ago there were quite a few level busts due to guys just blasting up to the level ATC said. These days ATC there will say something like 'climb unrestricted FLXXX' and if they don't say unrestricted I always ask.
'Climb now' I hear a lot in the UK.
