USA1pilot: "We should stop training large numbers of pilots until the suitable people with a License have a descent job."
This wouldn't remotely reflect the training involved in any other industry. Anyone who wants to train to become anything can do so at their own expense if they want to. Who should deny them that right, irrespective of the job prospects? Try to persuade them that it might not be the best idea, by all means, but nothing more. And even if it were possible to legislate to prevent people from training to become pilots, who is this "We" that you speak of that should decide who gets to do it and who doesn't?
