ATPL Distance Learning

Hi guys.

About two years ago i started doing my ATPLs. I was at a school which had a 6 month ground school program with the 14 exams broken into 2 parts (7 and 7). So basically we had 3 months of ground school, a week's brushup, and then then the first 7 exams. And we did this again for the second set of exams as well.
Due to some personal "issues" i had to stop doing ATPLs after taking the first 8 of them, and eventually lost motivation to complete the exams. As a result, i passed the 18 month time period in which you are supposed to complete the exams. But i am not back on top of things, and ready to get back to business. As i found self study to be much more rewarding than ground school, i've been looking in to doing distance learning instead. I have two things that need to be answered first though:

1. Since i have already completed the groundschool and brush-ups for the exams once before, will i have to do the brush-ups again? I assume because it's my seconds attempt at ATPLs (a new start) that's it's a yes, but i want to make 100% sure.
2. I'm having trouble finding a good school in the Middle East that actually offers Distance Learning. So far the only one that stands out is JetStream located in Dubai.
