Hi Ozzydoo,
I have completed my training at FTA and was a great experience throughout, I was modular because I already had my PPL and did the ATPL ground school, MECPLIR there. Great little school and good prices.
Depends what you want and have, if you have no flying experience, maybe worth seeing first if you like it - to explain the obvious before you take the plunge. Otherwise it's upto you which route you take, you may find modular cheaper however you do need to hour build doing modular. Instructors are very good and knowledgeable, aircraft are new and you can fly the older PA28/C152 if you choose.
Best thing to do is go down there, check the place out for yourself and see what you think, they will be more than happy to show you around and give you a good idea of what is best for you. As for job prospects, it's always a subject that comes up, generally tough for anyone at any school, but FTA will help you to get ready for jobs and look for them and see what there is out there, they are expanding and making new connections constantly, but you have to be pro-active job seeking regardless, plus finding the job is a long way off for you still so the market and industry will change.
Feel free to PM for any further details but I would get intouch and get down there to see for yourself.
