Pan Am Flight Training Academy

Just want everyones opinions and experience with regards "Pan Am International Flight Academy".

I remember attending a seimnar they had going here nearly 2 years ago now. Talking about the pilot shortage, how the prospects would be great for a job if we took up the training with them etc etc.

When I was there, I couldn't help but feel like the guy conducting the seminar, Name start with S and ends in N (If anyone can relate to the chap), was just after my money.

There were 2 guy's who had come from Cabair to the seminar as they had completed half of their training and obviously, Cabair ceased, so they were looking for somewhere else to go.

The guy running the seminar then directed most of his comments towards them, as he was certain they obviously had the funds to continue training. At the end instead of taking questions from the audicence, he left the room straight away to speak to the Cabair guys and told everyone else to wait to have their questions answered until he had finished with the Cabair guys.

They offered the "free assessment" and then offered £10,000 discount to the first few persons who signed up to the course. I have also been receiving emails every few months asking me to come back to another seminar which is pretty annoying.

I suppose what i'm trying to say, is that I more or less felt like the whole thing was about money grabbing, and came across a bit desperate.

Anyone else got any opinions on this, or in general, this school?
