PN. The Farnborough
22 hour flights were in either '59, '60, '61, probably 1960. The aircraft took off as the last item on Day 1 and landed as the first item on Day 2, etc. Our route took us towards Lisbon, Canary Islands, Azores, flown at endurance speed. Extra fuel was contained in a bomb bay tank. There was an 'enhanced' crew plus, of course, many extra pies!
