My question was more of rating expiry rather than licence expiry.
My understanding of the situation is that although your JAR licence has automatically become an EASA licence you are still privileged with the 5 years since last LPC expiry and not 3 under EASA?
'Kind of a "Grandad rights" until you actually hold the EASA piece of paper in your hand.
