Anyone under the age of 50 will probably find that story incredible, but it
is certainly true
I heard that on the morning after a mess function (possibly a summer ball at the end of the 1970s?) the head batty went around a wing of the Filton Block accommodation at Finningley and locked any Nav Student who was "entertaining" into his own room in order to provide evidence for the PMC. Much was said from both sides, but I recall that it was hushed up and no further action was taken.
Was anyone on this thread there?
