It is in fact the Nr beep switch (momentary On) and the missing one is the starter switch ...
Starter switch marked LDG L?

That panel you have is a little screwed up. The square knob should be on the landing light switch. The one missing.

The N2 Trim (Beep) had a curved serrated knob.

FYI the starter button is on the very end of the collective.

On the 600N (on which I had the misfortune of being the engineer on the second one in service) they replaced the N2 Trim with the FADEC Manual Switch.

Can you imagine a pilot who was a habitual N2 beeper hitting that switch? (Not me) A few seconds delay and all of a sudden MAX Fuel Flow! Overspeed anyone?

Mentioned it to the MD people to be met by a blank stare! Mindless!
