as a reply to some of you who have been calling the industry really
bad,i call it a BUSINESS people!

how about this as a small example:

a guy ive known for many years through highschool wanted to become an airline pilot.we enrolled in the same class in the same academy.he flunked out after the theory because he was having trouble with it.

he then went on to
another school,where things went better
and
he managed to get his license
after
2 atpl's and
about 140k lighter.

he just informed me,that after a year of jobhunting to no avail, hes starting in september with a company in italy (i think linetraining.net) a typerating + linetraining package for 68000€ to probably get the hours with tunisair.

i wish him all the best, but on the other hand,i have difficulty accepting that this person will be sitting
at the controls of an airliner carrying hundreds of people every day, thanks to a simple payment.as if a doctor
who fails medschool could
pay a big check and still treat patients
like you and me?

i know this is off topic, but its also the gruesome reality of what the industry is doing nowadays, and certainly a motivation for me to join a quality employer lile easyjet so ill never ever have to do this like that
guy!

comments are obviously welcome! nice weekend
guys
