What is it with this obsession regarding KLM operating BOH to AMS!
Everyone knows on here the truth and that it won't happen, if KLM were to operate from the South Coast again it would be from SOU as they previously have done in the past Flybe code share or not.
If and I say if Flybe were to ever pull the SOU to AMS route KLM would fill the gap immediately I am 100% sure of that.
BOH management should be talking to Easyjet as they are the most obvious carrier to have some form of expansion going forward at BOH especially with their recent large aircraft order, Easyjet could serve many routes from their comprehensive list of destinations that would not over lap Ryanair operations, they could start up a base similar to what they have achieved at Southend.
And if Ryanair were to be upset about that well I would say stuff them and give some sort of incentive to Easyjet to make a base at BOH viable, long term it can only benefit the airport and it's catchment area.
