Aero Club does a bit of instructing and has a 210 & a Navajo dunno if they have minimums
NAC has 2 210's and a couple of twins everyone is casual and they didn't appear to do alot of work
RFDS- 3 PC-12's Amazingly busy. Need a billion hours. PC 12 time advantageous
Pearl run 2 King Airs & 2 Metros maybe more. Need 500 multi would be a great job. Mainly weekdays seems pretty cruizy
To get a gig you would need to hang around a bit. There are plenty of hospitality jobs and supermarket kinda stuff going around. If you have some decent time you would may get a gig from your current place of abode without hanging around
Turbluence is painful and the summer is very HOT. Very little IFR weather but when you do get some clouds you earn your money. ILS's down to 300-400 feet wouldn't be unusual. However may only occur once a year
Also when it rains it is very wide spread and alot of the strips go out thus u can't always go flying!!
The sectors were usually very long so you got some serious hours when you were flying however it is very choppy in the summer!!!
