Well, it's been a while since I did an FAA exam, but unless things have changed, the two biggest players are ASA and Gleim's. I always preferred the ASA books. The biggest difference was that the ASA had the answers in the back of the book, and the Gleim's had the answers on the same page next to the question.

Some people prefer the Gleim's format as the answer was right there next to the question and they more easily associate the answer with the question that way. I had a little different method of studying, and the ASA format worked better for me. I think that the explanations in the ASA books were a little better than the Gleim's
