Gee, one post and you've been banned?

Anyway, I've used the Garmin 795 and have found it to be accurate, reliable and well worth the money. It has a fast processor so its touch screen allows instant changes without any lagging. You can zoom in and out of the area you're monitoring on the map simply by dragging your thumb and forefinger on the screen, very much like you do on the iPhone. It of course has all of the standard GPS features that all other Garmin GPSs have but additional features include the 3D mapping to show you the location of high terrain in 3D format. This works very well and is a feature that's associated with the latest terrain database that you've downloaded on to the GPS. If you're flying in Kathmandu, you'll find that useful, although don't forget it's only an aid in assisting you to fly under VMC conditions and not to be the sole reference for navigation either.

Also other features it has is traffic alerts (similar to TCAS), but only if you have a Garmin transponder that you can link your Garmin 795 to. It also has the ability to overlay the weather on the screen but I believe this feature is only available to those operating in the US.
