There are a lot of "ifs" in your statement. I could bet my home that condensation did not play any role here. But even if it did you wouldn't have to
redesign electricity - you simply turn down humidity to much lower levels. There is nothing in the design of A/C-ventilation in 787 that says you MUST have higher humidity.
