Identity document requirement for BA domestic flights?
I've now done some 30 departures to LCY with BA. For 26 of them I haven't been asked to produce any form of identity. For all other UK domestic sectors flown with BA (including Jersey and returns from LCY) I haven't been asked to produce ID. But 4 times on boarding this flight I have been asked to produce ID. 3 times by the same gate person. When queried I am told "it's an Isle of Man thing".
Is it? And if so can anyone tell me why?
