The airport has very limited ability to market itself, this is largely controlled from MAG so it's a little unfair to blame the airport itself. Despite that, it has actually survived a deep recession (remember that both filton and plymouth have gone and the airport had to make redundancies and introduce the drop off fee to cut losses) and is slowly building business again including private, training and military flights.
