Euh ? If it was so safe (on the ground) why did Heathrow's finest turn out en-masse ?
I take the
PR statement to mean that it was a problem caused by the fact that there was no one around, and had it happened in flight, it could have been dealt with quickly and efficiently before it got to that stage.
