Does it affect your ability to fly an aeroplane?
...probably won't affect your career in regionals.
Is it ever likely to get worse - and if it does get worse could you possibly blame your employer (and get compo from them?)?
...might affect long term stuff. Maybe.
If you have a Class 1 medical and you can fly and work without restriction I can't see many companies getting worried.
I have a defective heart valve which will require replacement "one day". I disclosed it fully to Qantas and they weren't worried at all in the medical asessment (I still f
cked up in the Simulator and missed out on the job however).
When you get older you will start gathering notes, limitations and restrictions on your medical like you are currently collecting type and design feature endorsements on your licence.
