Class 1 Medical Restrictions - Job Prospects

Hi there,
Recently I have received my CASA Class 1 Medical however it has some restrictions and I would appreciate the opinion of others in regards to career prospects.

I have restrictions for both reading and distance corrective vision (which from various opinions is no big deal), something I had previously on my class 2 for PPL.
Another restriction "Special Condition" which requires me to provide a report from a specialist on a minor neuropathy condition when I go for my Class 1 renewals.

The neuropathy is a minor isolated one to the wrist and has been stable for 4 years and the prognosis for it is to continue being stable. It has no affect on my life including my flying and my labour intensive job (lifting loads 35kg plus).

I'm fully aware of the already competitive road to becoming an airline pilot. Given my "Special Condition" restriction, if I build the required hours in GA and all else being good will the airlines consider me?

Opinions appreciated, thanks a lot
