As Stoppers indicated, there are definite signs now that airline recruiting is picking up. For example, everyone's favourite Irish airline, is now recruiting DE pilots for its expansion plan: https://aerlingus.recruitment.northg...EDA06?latest=9

Only 2 days left until the deadline.

I have no connection with the airline - but was hugely impressed with the friendly, thoroughly professional service I experienced on a recent trip with them.

I see that, as a result of some recent LOC-I incidents and accidents, a company in the US is now offering 'upset and recovery training' using the TA-4 Skyhawk. Now that might be an interesting sideline for someone to develop in the UK, perhaps using the Hawk or (if there any airworthy examples available) the JP5? Not a difficult job for the right ex-RAF FJ instructor who doesn't want to be locked in a cupboard with a stranger for 2 hours at a time several times a day flying the Great Unwashed to inflict themselves on our long-suffering European neighbours!
