It still makes me chuckle that so many believe that RAF Manning's future depends upon the state of the airlines; that was a decade ago maybe, now I've never seen so many looking for any out possible and Manning are oblivious - on my fleet alone nearly twice as people will be leaving in the next 12 months than can physically be trained, and most of those are the experienced types too.
I'm committed but I'm pretty sure I only have 2 hands and that there will only ever be 365.25 days in a year...something has to be done, surely, before this becomes farsical?!?
