(like Taily)…came across a question posed to Cybercasa from ‘PAIN’… “Q/ Is CASA ALIU conducting a parallel investigation of the YMIA QF/VA low fuel marginal vis incident?”
The 2010 MOU reads:
4.1 Parallel investigations:
4.1.1 The ATSB may undertake ‘no-blame’ safety investigations in accordance with the TSI Act and CASA may separately undertake investigations with a view to possible safety-related action pursuant to its functions under Section 9 and/or Part IIIA of the Civil Aviation Act.
The ATSB website lists 'AO-2013-100' as a ‘Serious Incident’ and with the precedent set in the Norfolk ditching investigation..well surely FF should be running a parallel investigation? Hmm wonder if they’ve dispatched the Special Audit team yet?
