When the email about being placed in a holding pool for Summer 2013/Winter 2014 interviews first came out they had already hired around 100 pilots. As one of the guys who applied around June 2012 and who received this email, I thought my interview opportunity was surely around the corner. Since then many more have been invited and hired but no such opportunity has manifested itself and along with many others I haven't received a rejection either which proves to an extent that Monarch are honouring their hold pool system (can't say for certain if its based on application date). Now with talk of a possible 50 being hired late next year I get the feeling I'm about 1 out of at least another 200 in the hold pool. I'm no expert, but the stats are quite obvious. I highly doubt, the online application will be opening this year or next.
