if one has flown one of these machines one would know that you shouldn't have to pay premiums to someone to stay in fighters....if you have to, you've got bigger problems....

if the only reason they can be enticed to stay with the regulars is for that relatively paltry sum, they're not the ones you want in the fighters anyway.

(when I used up my Guard flying pay days in fighters for the month, I would sit on the ops counter every morning waiting/hoping that some part-timer would not show up that day and then I would fill in the 4-ship....for free)

....actually one would think the larger bonus would be more appropriate for those guys that have to suffer the heavies.
