I think it's a misinterpretation. When the heading changed (as per FDR) and the crew said "je suis à fond à… avec du gauchissement", the aircraft was
already stalled (and for a long time).
That doesn't denote a right roll tendancy when it was still
flying, as other posters already pointed above
