Last time I was offered an interview, I waited around six months for an invitation after my application and the interview was, I think, scheduled in the next month. 6 months is generally the minimum waiting time.
You should read the whole thread, beginning from page 1. There are a lot of helpful tips, as well as the process and procedures of the interview stages. You should have no problem reading through each post. Lately, the interviews have been more or less the same, that's why there isn't so many new "here's my experience" posts. It's been more of "get together study session" posts and criticisms of the CX Cadet Pilot Programme posts.
Last important fact, as of now only Permanent Hong Kong Residents are eligible for CX Cadet Pilot Programme. I see that your location is in Australia, are you a permanent HK resident?
