Lack of brand recognition is the biggest obstacle that overseas carriers have in re entering the Irish Market. The person in the street can't see beyond Ryanair and Aerlingus.
Its the airports who don't do enough particularly the DAA when it comes to branding. NOC and WAT got the Flybe brand well known in the regions while the new SAA got their new routes out to the public particularly United an US Airways services.
