Why throw away the decades of performance, reliability and moderate operating
cost of the Allison/RR product?
What are they thinking?! Everyone on the planet knows how to fix (and get parts for) the RR 250 - well most everyone.
Perhaps trying to discipline RR. Like others above, I believe that this will eventually bite them.
