How to get JAR CE525 type rating onto unrestricted FAA license
Hi guys,

hope that someone of you knows the answer to my question because I had several different answers and no one seems to be 100% informed nor correct.

If holding a JAR frozen ATPL with CE525 rating, what is the procedure to get this rating onto an unrestricted FAA CPL/IR/MEP?

I know of cases when FSDOs issued validations based on foreign license right away with CE525 rating on validation PPL/VFR. If performing IFP and BFR and it should basically be legal to fly N registered CJ-CJ4 private.

Is an addtional check ride needed to get this TR on an unrestricted FAA license? Does it depedant on the experience of the applicant? Qualifications?

Would appreciate your help.
