Pilot Fatigue
Perhaps it's time the CAAP investigated the fatigue level of a crew member that is not given sufficient rest? It's standard practice, at Cebu Pacific, to deny the pilots any rest days off per month. During the supposed 8 days off per month, according the pilot code of conduct, all Crew members are required to be contactable by phone, and when contacted, they must report to work. No choice. If the crew member would like to leave his base, it's only by written permission.
Is it any wonder there are incidents? If you combine that with 4-6 sector days, combining night flights and early morning flights, well it doesn't require an Einstein, does it Mr. Br--n.
