Let's not Tott.....everyone of these tragedies need to be dissected and Lessons Learned published. If that results in exactly one set of eyes being opened and one person changes their ways towards a safer way of operating...then it is a good thing that results.

Yes it is appropriate we offer Condolences but this is not the proper place for that....direct contact with the family, friends, and co-workers, posting to EMS web sites, the company web site, and sending flowers or donations to the charities requested by the family are all the right thing to do.

We all hate to see good folks lost in this business.....but we have to face reality....it is part of the job....all to frequently sadly.
