Locals are still claiming it will be the "Gateway" to airport "expansion", including a runway extension.
Now hands up who thinks Rigby & pals are going to stick in £250m just so they can get more interest in a £10-15m terminal building, and a runway extension which might perhaps cost £25m?

Warwick's planning committee has just had a reshuffle (looks a bit Putinesque - chair removed, together with 3 others who voted it down in December, but this was at the AGM, so these things happen).
So what really have is just another large suburban office park - no clear transport policy, nothing remotely "exceptional" as the planning blurb says it should be, but jobs are jobs, and much of this area has always been earmarked to get built on.
