Ryanair operated this route year-round daily from autumn 2005 until the airline announced at the end of 2009 that the route would be one of about 20 FR routes from SNN to be axed after some sort of disagremment with the airport and ceased to fly it from March 2010.

The Ryanair SNN-BRS passenger figures seemed healthy (we don't know about yields of course) with CAA showing the following annual totals:

2006 96,647 (including 1,844 non-FR charter passengers, presumably rugby-related)

2007 97,359

2008 85,360 (including 1,942 non-FR charter passengers, presumably rugby-related)

2009 81,031

Aer Lingus Regional took over from Ryanair in July 2010 at 6 x weekly until September 2012 when they pulled out of the route. Annual passenger figures in their tenure were:

2010 27,273 (Ryanair until March and EI from July)

2011 26,688

2012 18,307 (route ceased in September)
Thank you for providing those stats. Agree, those figures look healthy.

I've seen a few people asking SNN through there social networking sites about flight's to BRS. Hopefully it can be restored for S14.
