Haven't seen them ask for XR's conditions.
That's because they already DO have Skywest conditions!!!
They get Business Class Travel, low overtime trigger, Strict Seniority. None of which Virgin has.
Now QF pilots want to top all that up with some of the benefits of the VA agreement! Mainly because their flying hours are probably going to decrease so they are effectively going to take a pay cut because the overtime trigger is so low, so they want to get on the VA idea of higher salary but with a higher overtime trigger. QF only get paid well when they do alot of flying. Their pay crashes when the company farms out all their flying to subcontractors.
My money is on the two companys remaining separate. If you want to work for either apply to that company. Don't join XR thinking you will get into VA.
