When the "film" was being shot in the 60's ... this lot lobbed into RAF Manston. Some years later I heard a story that an ex RAF BoB Pilot had apparently shouted (partly tongue in cheek) "Get that filth off my airfield" over the R/T
I always thought the modern grey leather Luftwaffe flying jacket looked very smart, practical and comfortable ... and they were "issue" I believe
