question to all the more senior and experienced pilots out there...
I am a fixed wing pilot with some flights as EMS ops. I am very interested in doing Helicopter ops, whether it be EMS or other, but I do not have any contacts in the Chopper world.
Any info re the kind of ops , operators, regions, types flown, pay, rostering, work conditions, career prospects etc etc, would be very much appreciated.
How does chopper flying as career compare to fixed wing at the higher levels such as charter co's, regionals and airlines?
Have got 2400TT fixed wing, 600turbine, 700ME. No chopper license or experience other than one flip on a SAAF Alouette years ago.
