Re BMIR, unfortunately although offering a different service they have a similar problem to BMI Baby.. gas guzzling planes.They were fine when delivered what 14 yrs ago but oil prices tripled since then
Unless they can replace these gas guzzling 145s ,its going to be very hard to survive. Seems they haven't noticed that most airlines are getting rid of 145s as they are not economically viable .
So which type of plane they should go for in the given circumstances?
Replace these planes is easier said than done in the current economic environment. Go for new jets or go for props? more seats or same?
They have not too many options with the current offer of planes and with their network and business model.
